This week, Kimberlee Alexandria-Day, Founder of Ode to Self, discusses understanding the foundation of self-care amid a personal breakup, questioning God when things didn’t look like what she saw, and staying present with her brand through strategic partnerships. Kimberlee’s intentionality to the importance of foundation lends expertise around balance and replenishment.
Bio: Kimberlee Alexandria-Day is a trained esthetician, founder, and formulator behind Ode to Self Skincare and Wellness, an intentional small-range multifunctional line focused on providing nourishment to dry, sensitive skin, with a gradual approach to hyperpigmentation. Ode to Self is rooted in the importance of the need to show up for yourself in the midst of showing up for everyone else. Having graduated from the Aveda Institute in 2014 in Charlotte, North Carolina, Kimberlee learned, during the course of her esthetics training, holistic practices and what it truly meant to nurture your overall being. That philosophy influenced the way she saw skincare and health, as that holistic experience is instilled in her brand and personal life today. Kimberlee currently resides in Nashville, TN.
